The Canal Bar is a local joint that celebrates hunting and fishing. They cater to hunters and fishermen and have many taxidermy mounts of wild game and fish that adorn the walls (most donated by local patrons of the establishment who can tell the story of the animals' or fishes' harvests!!!). They serve USDA Prime steaks, Kobe burgers, fresh seafood and wild game with a menu that changes seasonally. The fantastic food is served Wednesday-Saturday from 7 PM to 10 PM, and the bar is open 7 days a week. I highly recommend the Crimini Mushrooms, Hanger Steak and Duck Confit!!!
